The Delkwood Grill was opened in January of 1988 under the name "Bimbo" Chutich and his wife Betsy. Together, with their children, Dawn and Paul, they have been running the bar and restaurant ever since. The Chutichs have been in the restaurant business since 1959, when they opened their first pizza place in Virginia, Minnesota. Over the next 45 years they and their children opened over 35 bars and restaurants called "Bimbo's" in seven different states. Although the concepts and formats for the different locations changed over the years (including the name change to "Delkwood Grill" in 2000), the recipe for success has stayed the same. A warm, friendly "family" atmosphere has always been the hallmark for the businesses. Someone from the family is always present to welcome and greet customers at the restaurant. It is one of the few truly family-owned and operated restaurants in the Metro-Atlanta area, and one of the oldest!
