Dragon Gourmet has got to be one of the best Chinese buffets around! I have not had a buffet place on the weekday have such a large selection. Even compared to some buffet places on weekends, this place puts them to shame! To start with, they server lots of Dim Sum items and yeah yeah I know what you are thinking. Dim Sum that is dried out and not worth even eating because it doesn't come close to being real Dim Sum. Well, not here at Dragon Gourmet! They serve Dim Sum that I can say it's almost as good as those dim sum places where they push the carts around. In fact one of my favorite dim sum item was their Custard Bun. It really was as good if not even a touch better than those in Chinatown in Los Angeles! I'm not kidding, I've traveled to most parts of the US that serve authentic dim sum and many places don't even serve custard buns. All the dishes I tried was very good but one stood out as excellent. It's their Schezuan tofu as seen in the picture. The tofu was so silky that I had such trouble with picking them up with chopsticks and I'm Chinese! Well either my chopsticks skills needs some brushing up or the freshness of the tofu was just incredible. I will not admit that I need to improve my chopstick skills so I must say the tofu was of the highest quality and freshness. The prices also was not bad at all for the amount of selection and freshness of the food. Oh I didn't even mention that they also offered sushi as one of the selections for the buffet without extra charge and they did not skimp on the array of sushi selections either. I can go on and on but you've got to go and try it for yourself if you have not been. You won't regret it!
