This is a classy restaurant on Daniel Island. As soon as you walk in you feel as though you walked into the far east. They truly have done a remarkable job with the attention to detail and the decor. You get to enjoy your delicious meal while soft Chinese music is playing in the background. You are surrounded by nice hardwood furniture and decorations of the Orient. The ethnic setting is one of the best I've seen in any Chinese restaurant of this caliber. I started off with Chrysanthemum a flower Chinese tea which came out in a genuine Chinese tea set. Next up came the hot and sour soup and it was indeed as good as the waiter recommended. They had thin sliced of Chinese mushrooms called Dongu with good amount of shrimp pieces. The quality of their ingredients is evident and I couldn't wait for the Sea Bass that was up and coming. The Sea Bass was nicely presented on a highly decorated dish. The flavor was also well balanced with the black bean sauce. The only thing that didn't make this a home run is that it was a bit overcooked. Nothing that made it inedible but it would have been out of this world had it been more tender as Sea Bass should be. Overall, it was a great dining experience and will look forward to going back to try their Maine Lobster Cantonese Style. They unfortunately had sold out when I tried to order it. If you are in the Charleston area, do try and make it out here and experience this wonderful local Chinese restaurant. By the way if you want a great waiter ask for Leon.

This is a fine place for a burger or cold beer---nothing special but tasty just the same.
