I love their food! The chicken in mole sauce is to die for, can't get good mole anywhere else, I've tried. The chicken is so tender. Their green chile is excellent, too. The atmosphere is cheesy, but who cares. I can't understand why some people don't like it. Baffling.

El Burrito is the best ever. The review that didn't like it is NUTS! I've been going there for 45 years and will continue to go. If it's as bad as that guy says, why is there always a line to get in? My sister comes to visit and that's the first place we go, sometimes more than once while she's here for a week.
The chips and salsa bar are excellent. The burritos are fair... a bit bland for me. The Chile Rellanos are very good. Overall, a good alternative to Qdoba or Chipotle.
This has always been a family favorite. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The portions are great! And the dessert is quite tasty! Their giant sopapilla is delicious.

I have been eating here for over 30 years and always order the beef and bean smothered burrito (with their own recipe green chile) with sour cream and a chile relleno, served on a steaming platter with a flour torilla on the side and extra hot sauce. Yum !! My daughter LOVES the both the beef and chicken chimichanga and my son the burritos. They are the best - everything is hand made with family recipes handed down and it has been in the same family since its inception over 50 years ago. I'll take this any day over chain restaurants that serve frozen Mexican food ordered from one of those huge conglomerates that manufacture them. Just had to submit a positive review because I would say this is NOT the worst, but the BEST Mexican restaurant anywhere between here and California! I've eaten at other Mexican restaurants and this wins hands down.

From California to Arizona to Colorado, this is the worst Mexican food I ever tasted. Let me explain. Their salsa is made from canned tomato sauce--no fresh tomatoes. They don't use real cheese, but fake American cheese. I've tasted better refried beans out of a can. The hard corn tortilla shells tasted store-bought, but the flour tortillas were okay. The best things I can say is that the staff was very good, it has a nice atmosphere, the chili sauce was decent, the price was okay for the quantity and the food was all warm. But my goodness, how do they pass off those dishes as restaurant food?
