I went to go eat at El Nopal Mexican Restaurant in Olympia, WA tonight because I had a Gift Certificate for this place. When I was done eating I presented the Gift Certificate and they told me it was expired. There was no expiration date on the coupon. I asked to speak to the owner he came out and told me the same story, I preceded to tell him that there is no expiration date on it. He then continued to tell me its no good and walked off. I then said I refuse to pay, he came back and said oh yea, then grabbed my card and said he was going to call the police I said go ahead. He then came up to me and threatened me, and started to take off his apron. Real Class act if you ask me. He gave me my card back and told me to leave! All the customers in the restaurant told me as I was walking out, I will never come back to this place......That was Bullsh**. I concur and will never go back as well!

Definitely worth a trip. The front isn't inviting but the food is worth another trip from Chehalis.Chicken Cordon Bleu was excellent, the oysters tasted like they just were shucked straight from the ocean.

Bland, just plain yucky! Rice tasted washed out...salsa too watery. I ordered some chicken sauced thing tasted horrid. Hubby ordered some rolled spinach stuffed pancake in sour cream sauce. Plain horrid!
