My wife and I have dined at El Tio Pepe for years now.The food has always been hot, delicious, fresh, and everything we could want from a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are delicious and cold and we overstuff ourselves by adding a dessert at the end. Our favorites are the shrimp dishes and the desserts, especially the deep friend ice cream. Service is always friendly an courteous and we will remain loyal to this place until we die or it dies

My husband and I have been going to El Tio Pepe for 10 years. Interestingly enough in these hard economic times, we received a coupon in the mail which was not good Mother's Day, Father's Day but good through 06/30/08. Tonight, June 20, 2008, I showed the waiter prior to the waiter taking our order this coupon. He said I should show it to the cashier when paying. We ordered our dinner (one of which did not include a salad so it would be paid for over and above what the entree would be. Our total would have been over $40.00 and would have qualified for the $10.00 off of the total. Instead our brilliant waiter decided to not bring our beverages without being asked for them, not bring our salad soup or the tortillas to go with my fajitas so that when the bill was brought, we were $.73 short of the $40.00 tab, thus "NOT QUALIFYING FOR THE $10.00 off coupon!" Pretty pathetic!!!!! They just lost the next 10 years plus of our business for their bad behavior. What goes around comes around! ENJ
good CHEAP mexican food however i think the taco shells maybe stale the two times i visited.
the Tony's special burrito at 2.85 is the best value for the money and don't forget to ask for extra hot sauce

I was a resident of the High Desert for over 15 years, and El Tio Pepe will always be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The lighting is low -- easy on the eyes, without creating a seedy atmosphere. The food is consistently good, even though the prices are not very competitive. The waiters are not loquacious, but they are professional and efficient. I wish I had one here in Georgia!

Love the food. Came from San Gabriel valley 2 years ago to Apple Valley and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant for nearly 2 years. Found it at El Tio Pepe. Food is delicious; selected it for my Birthday restaurant celebration with friends and also selected it as the restaurant I wanted my sister to take me to for the my birthday also.
Food is excellent.

Not good tasting food at all. Very disappointing and I'm hoping to find a better mexican restaurant out here.

One of the worst places claiming to service real Mexican food. It is one notch above Teco Bell. The place is very dark which gives the feeling they are attempting to hide something. The place looks as if they maintain the carpet which is deeply dirty. The service is terrible with long waits even when its the slow part of the day. With the boom that Victorville is experiencing its long over due for a better Mexican establishment.

Simply the best authentic mexican food in the high desert area. This is the restaurant you go to when you want a piece of Mexico. Forget where you were when you walked in. Enjoy delicious mexican selections along with the sights and sounds. The best guacamole and the best steak fajitas. Period. ¡tenga diversión!
