I have been going to Fawn Brook Inn every summer since I was a small child. It is a wonderful place for enjoying a quiet but fun dinner with family or just a romantic evening for you and your significant other. The drive to the restaurant is beautiful and the grounds are lush and full of humming birds. The food is excellent, with a many course meal to entertain you for two or three hours. You will definitely be full by the time you order dessert, but make sure you always leave room. They are just as delectable as the main course. I would suggest the duck or steak au pouvre, but everything on the menu is incredible. As for dessert, I ate the chocolate mousse for years because it was that delicious. This restaurant is kid friendly, but it is also somewhat expensive. However, you will not disappointed. So, enjoy the restaurant and take a stroll through the gardens in between courses. You'll come back years to come!

I have been coming to The Fawn Brook for as long as I can remember. I don't believe it's "kid friendly" and that is FINE WITH ME! I want a nice romantic dining experience, no screaming kids thank you! And this is the place for romance. I'm going this weekend with my boyfriend and am really looking forward to it. It's a great place to go around the holidays and the decorate inside and out. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the world!! A must see. And leave the kids at home.

We have enjoyed this place for many years -- the atmosphere is wonderful and it is a fantastic place to bring guests or have an intimate dinner for a special occasion.

What a jewel of a discovery! A blizzardly night -- driving out of Estes Park up business rt 7 with a map in hand to this destination restaurant. Log cabin w/ fire going and hummingbirds in the dark feeding in front of the windows! (who knew?). Excellent 4 star food in a comfy atmosphere. Don't miss it. Reasonable prices, not cheap. Friendly service with the owner visiting table to table. Wonderful food with a German bend to it. Even in a snowstorm it was full -- the people at the next table drive up from Fort Collins on a regular basis. We're looking for any excuse to get back there!
A wonderfully relaxed experience in an old log inn. Outstanding continental cuisine. The chef is the owner and a true jewel. The service is excellent, friendly, not "Hi, my name is....", but not obsequius. The food is just marvelous. Try the duck - or any thing. An excellent wine list but a little pricey. Children are welcome. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but an excellent 2 to 3 hour dinning experience. The scenery on the way to and from is 5 star also. This is my favorite over all the world.
