I used to live in Edison & then moved to North Brunswick. My grandmother remained in Edison so everytime I would visit her I would have lunch with her which I would have Pizza & a dinner & I always remember the salad being so fresh & the bread was delicious and the food tasted just like my late italian grandfather used to make. I would always take 2 pizzas home & alot of the time they would let me buy their homemade gravy or sauce and I would get a box full of containers filled so I could make pasta at home with this most scrumptious gravy. I had 5 children to feed & we all loved their sauce, I would add my meatballs & sausage & my family ate every drop. The food here is outstanding as is the family that runs & owns the place! The service was always prompt & pleasant. I now live in Florida & I miss the good food & gravy so much. If I ever get back there I will be taking both pizza & gravy back home. Of course they said they would ship it to me but its beem years & I havent been back in 6 long years but I do miss this place & you wont be disappointed if you eat there. ITS DELICIOUS! I LOVE FERRAROS!!!!

The best pizza in all of North Edison, even though it's one of the few left around. The food is so good they don't deliver, they don't have to. There is a "fancier" restaurant next door called Elio's, same owner and it's attached, but if you want delicious authentic Italian food than Ferraro's on Inman Ave. in Edison is the place to go. It gets a little crowded and it's just a regular type of pizzeria, but the food is top notch. Thin pizza with a soft crust, great sauce and they use mozzarella cubes, not shredded on their pie. it makes a difference, top quality. Other favorites of ours are the clams oreganato, the chicken or shrimp Parmesan, the house dressing on the salad is wonderful.. and of course the cannolis. Enjoy!
