I really liked this, it was a new restaurant to me and I thought it was great. I had a great dinner and thought it was reasonably priced. The ambience is fabulous, i was very pleased to say the least.
Patina was not even close to the experiences I got to appreciate in New York City. It's not bad but cannot even get close to Lutece, Jean George or others in this class. It's rather bland. The wine list however is great.

Oversized baguettes, exquisite entrees, succulent wine and to-die-for desserts beckon customers to come taste a little bite of France. But the patrons of Figaro Bistro in Los Angeles do not need to travel to Paris to enjoy some authentic French cuisine...with one poke of the head in and one bite, one is instantly transported in the heart of the City of Lights! Located on the trendy Vermont Avenue at the skirt of the revived Los Feliz area in Los Angeles, Figaro shares the spotlight with some of the city's most vital dives and live music venues. making as much noise in the street as in the kitchen, Figaro is a Parisian haven. Locals mix with the accidental tourrists, the in-crowd, the Hollywood outsiders as well as the celebrities who come to capture a little taste of this parisian scenery. Orchestrated by Chef Guillaume Sabbadin, Figaro's unique menu offers a culinary opera of musical gourmet recipes that will have one's palate sing Figaro...Figaro..Figaro. From the Filet Mignon, the Entrecote, the Escargots, to the homemade Creme Brulee and the sinfully delicous Eclair, no items have been omitted to bring the texture and flavors of France to life. Figaro's other raison d'etre is its unique decor which shelters myriad of antique pieces all bought at various auctions in Paris France to flawlessly re-create the authenticity of a Parisian Bistro. A well mastered savoir faire in the field of gastronomy! Bravo Figaro!

A Parisian haven in the heart of Los Angeles. The decor is authentic and so is the food. From the floor tiles, the gigantic mirrors, the chandeliers to the Food, the selection of wine and exquisite cocktails, no detail was omitted to bring this Parisian canvas alive. The Filet Mignon was exquisitely amazing and the creme Brulee a precious little diamond!!! Figaro is a dining gem... with an amazing savoir faire that has us come back for more...
