I just went last night and had the most fabulous pasta. The Capisante was to die for. Our waiter reccommended the best wine to go with our meal. The Twomey merlot by Silver Oak was outstanding. My friend loved the Wild Salmon. We finished off with a delicious Tiramisu.

Hi Tracey,

Just wanted to thank you for the Fontana's $150 Gift Certificate, and to report on our wonderful dinner there! Dick and I used it tonight-- we took our friend Sonja and her 2 Norwegian cousins who were visiting from Bergen and Oslo. What a delightful experience! The food was great-- starting with our 2 appetizers, hot artichoke and calimari; ending with tirimisu [best I've ever tasted, melted in your mouth!].

But the best part of our evening was John, the waiter. He started off by teasing Dick about his 4 women companions, gave very appropriate suggestions for our dinners, kept checking back to see that everything was going smoothly, took pictures of our group, and generally made everyone feel very welcome. We all had a ball!

As I mentioned when you called and said Dick won the drawing, we never win ANYTHING! This was worth waiting for!

Thanks so much.

Sincerely,
Lu Walthart

The food is good not great. If you have kids it is a good deal. The chain can compete in Mt View!
