Grand Rapids Restaurant Guide

When ever we come to Grand Rapids we try to stop at Fred's Pizza. If you're looking for a restaurant with that "home cooking, mom and pop, family friendly" atmosphere Fred's is the place to go. I love the pizza there and all of the food if great, even the salads! They also have a very friendly staff which makes for a pleasant dining experience, give Fred's a try.

The best Pizza in town. There is a line out the door on weekend nights. Everyone knows why their food is amazing!

i think people like fred's because it's one of the only restaurants left on slowly-dying plainfield, so it's not like we have much of a choice. this place is nothing special, about the same as vitales which is also meh. the pasta tastes the same as one of those lean cuisine tv dinners from the store. i think all the good reviews are from people who have lived on plainfield all of their life and haven't really ventured outside of the area, or they go there just because it's close. i am so sick of bland italian food.

An uninspired run-of-the mill pizza they charge an arm and leg for. Their pizza sauce tastes like the spaghetti sauce you buy in a jar. The young lady who took my order was unpleasant. Looking for a good pizza? You will not find it here

Freds Pizza Rocks! This Authentic Italian Restaurant has been around for over 40 years. Family owned and run they really make everything in house. Next time you want to impress someone bring them to Freds Pizza on the corner of Plainfield AVE NE and 4mile rd. Let your guest and yourself see the difference between putting on a show and putting on a meal. Great food and the check won't scare you. PS his wet burrito is special

Freds Pizza is my favorite Italian Restaurant. My Father started bring us a family of six to Freds 40 some years ago. Now I've been able to bring my family of six to this fine restaurant. The food is great and the prices will make you wonder why you ever spent a dime on fast food. He really makes all the food in House try the homemade sausage on a Pizza or Sub WOW! you will be glad you tried this place, Oh and Daddy can still have a beer.
