I myself, am originally from NYC... moved here about 10 years ago... although I have adjusted to the different life up here, I have always craved the Historically great food of all the different ethnicities we were spoiled with in "the city"... I decided to go to Fretta's one Sunday "Football" Day!! Ordered a bunch of different things for me & my guests(football party). The usuals were ordered- Chicken Cutlets,Olive salad, eggplant, & a few other things that i would normally order... 4 people - cost me over $75... the cutlets tasted like rubbery fish... the sauce SUCKED!!! Olives were wilted & horrible tasting. If this is what you people think a "CITY" Italian Deli is like... you are sadly mistaken! This place is a rip-off... and a much better "Deli" is found 1 & 1/2 blocks away... with "REAL" city People & "Real" city "DELI"!!! With reasonable prices...

We have have our parties catered by Fretta's and have also had take-out food. The quality of the food is exceptional and they have a variety of speciality items (such olives, fresh mozzarella, pastries, etc.). I would highly recommend.
