Marina Restaurant Guide

So on a Saturday night me and my Wife after a long days of work, seek out to find a nice place to dine. so we search and search but everything doesn't seem genuine. Until five minutes of searching i come across a small Italian restaurant . my wife and i go into their web page and get to know more about them and as we both look at the menu and picture we both grow in interest about the small part. A little skeptical we decide to go. We came from Carmel to Marina to have dinner. Sounds a Little crazy but i don't judge a book by its cover or by the flashy name of the author. So When we Get to Frutti We noticed that the vibe out side is the total opposite of the inside. When we enter we felt at home and cozy with the fresh aromas of the amazing foods being cooked . Great vibe first impression was amazing Nicely Filled with customers we new we found the spot that has been kept from us and the world. The warm greeting from a Young Gentleman that approached us with professionalism and at the same time with an invitation of warmness in his personality. On top of that his genuine smile and his clean and crisp look was on the spot .Its amazing how we haven't even ordered yet and we are more then satisfied. the gentleman named Franklin approached us letting us know the great specials for the night as we sat. The way he described it was making us drool great description and great words made him in my opinion the best waiter i had. Trust me I have gone to many fine restaurants in the central coast but nothing like this young man. What Impressed me the most was that he did it and showed passion to his job and showed sincerity. So as we look through the great valued menu we had a hard time making a decision due to the great menu. We went with Crab Cakes for the appetizer. The waiter brought our drinks and then appetizers. One bite made us say wowow yummy mmmmm the best crab cakes ever!!!! Also we were brought bruschettas which had a great balace starting from the bread to the pommodoro salsa! I had The Special Witch was Salmon with Large scallops and topped off with a nice light lemon cream sauce with rice and veggies some would pay 30 plus ,but at Frutti De Mar It was only 18.95 what a Bargain! My partner had The Frutti DE Mar Fettuccine Only 15.95.Now As we were well Taken Cared of the entrees came. The Scent was amazing As I took My First Bight i new that the service and the food were the best ! This amazing Plate should be worth more in my perspective . The Frutti De Mar Fet. was perfect. The waiter was confident for a reason and he is lucky himself for being able to eat this anytime he like. We didn't have desert but we will be back for it . I Believe that Italian food should be judge by who makes it. What matters is that its authentic in flavors and the Frutti De Mar Meet these point and more. Great service Great Food You can only find it at this small cozy restaurant its home away from home I'm Italian I know !!
