Horrible service by an argumentative staff. I stopped for the Ostrich burger. When I ordered one I was told they were "out of season". As a semi-regular consumer of Ostrich meat I can assure you there is no Ostrich season. So I ordered a turkey burger instead, and was served a very, very well done piece of dry, flavorless turkey meat. I will say the bun was exceptionally well prepared though, crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. One of the best buns I have ever been served. The condiments (lettuce, tomatoes, pickle etc, had been prepared long in advance, with only the Ice Berg lettuce retaining any appearance of freshness. The tomatoes had been sliced and refrigerated (never a good idea) and were a gooey, slightly slimy mess that was flavorless.
The pickle relish had stuff imbedded in it and was disgusting.
As a franchise concept, FuddRuckers is in trouble nation wide. They were the original better burger and concept after concept has moved into that space and usurped them. They have some great potential offerings, like bison, ostrich, and turkey burgers for the more health conscious but lame execution like this from an uncaring, undisciplined staff is why they can capitalize on the market.
American Traditional, Brewery/Pub/Tavern, Sports Bar and Grill, Breakfast
YUM! This is a fun bar atmosphere, with lots of pool tables, a dance floor upstairs, HUGE big screen tvs (rumors of a few flat screens coming!)best happy hour specials in town.
