We went to Fuji on Feb. 17th with about 15 other people. When we arrived, they told us the room we requested would not be available. This wasn't a big deal for our group, so we were seated in the sushi bar area. We were there almost 30 minutes and our waitress hadn't come over once. Finally, someone found her just so we could order drinks. She was rude from the beginning and seemed like she didn't want to be there, but we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. Then she began to take our orders and decided to only do part of the table at the time. Some people at the table started to get their food, and others hadn't even had the chance to order. After half the table got their food and I still hadn't been able to order, I went to talk to the manager. Well, the manager wasn't there and the hostess was the manager on duty. I walked into her talking to my server, and my server pointed me out and called me "the b****." After I saw this I told the manager we needed to see her at our table. She came over and blamed the service on a "language barrier." I informed her that everyone at the table is either a manager, server, or cook in a restaurant and we understood that it was difficult to work a party of that size and maybe her server needed some help. And the manager replied, "What she needs is for you sit down and stay in your seat." I mentioned her calling me a b****, and her response was, "I know." Not a sorry, nothing. We finally order and all had our food. As soon as she could clear the table, she brought our checks. Also, she gave us seperate checks for every drink we ordered. So between my husband and I we had to sign five seperate credit card slips. One for each drink, and one for dinner. At the end of our meal, several people asked to talk to the manager and ended up talking to Chris the "owner." He was also unapologetic and did not listen to any of our concerns. I will never return to Fuji and hopefully this will save others the horrible experience I had.
This is a nice, clean place with good prices, especially at lunch. The food however, is extreamly overrated. They have ok steak, but their are several better places to go. Their pasta is bland and runny (water just sitting on your plate). It was one

I have been a Demo’s regular since day one. The quality of the food and the service has always been excellent until about a year ago. Since then the quality of the food and the service has gone down hill. Last week I went with some family members and

The only steak house I will eat at! Great service and casual dining. My favorite is the grilled steak salad. Had a bad day at work? This is the place to put your day behind you!
Simply awful. I suggest the regular Demos lovers to raise exoectations, and quit looking for the cheapest food around. You get what you pay for. They use the lowest quality ingredients, and produce large plates of bland food. Being from Chicago, I
