This has become one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants since moving to the Matthews area about 1 year ago. We MUST have the chicken, spicy beans, plantains, cilantro rice, blood sausage, or some combination thereof at least once a week or we feel like we are missing out. The protions are large and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very accomodating. For a first-time diner, you might want to try their dinner for 2 (actually feeds 4 hungry people). It includes a wide and lavish variety of items on the menu, so eveyone should find something to their liking. I am anxious to try one of their many tempting dessert items, but alas I am always way too full to indulge.

Great, tasty, flavorful food. Very good, friendly service. Not much atmosphere, but they are working on that. Huge portions for godo prices.
