Concord Restaurant Guide

12/6/11 Tuesday evening we went to Gianni's, what an exceptional evening we had. The food was absolutely delicious and very abundant. The wine list was very extensive and covered every palet from the novice to the very saphisticated palet. After 25 years in retail liquor and wine business, I was very impressed. The owner, hostess and waitress were all so congenial we felt as though we were having a wonderful meal at home with family. One "Extraordinary Dining Experience", don't miss it. We will go back often!!

Gianni's is far and away the best Italian dining in the Charlotte region. Heather is an imaginative chef who always produces amazing flavors in her dishes. John Goode, the owner understands the restaurant business. He and Heather meet and greet customers, offering a personal touch. Together, they produce dining evenings worthy of any fine restaurant anywhere. We most recently dined at Gianni's for our 56th anniversary. We were treated as family, and enjoyed a splendiferous meal, well worthy of the occasion.

Went to Gianni's for our anniversary last Saturday and it was AWESOME!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Frank Sinatra music in the background, tealights on the table, I felt like I was in Little Italy! John, the owner was very friendly, and so was our waitress, Alex. From beginning to end, the food, service and restaurant itself was great! Gianni's is going to be our "spot" for date night! Highly reccomend if you want to come for great food and service!

This restaurant was a prime example of delectable Italian food. The eggplant was PERFECTLY cooked, and the salad we had with some sort of red vinaigrette was TO DIE FOR! Our waitress was extremely polite and well-spoken. She provided us with a table, without a reservation (Although I do recommend one), and promptly presented us with delicious food. Overall: 550000/5 stars!

This is my favorite restaurant in Concord. Love the salads, love the steaks, and much more. It is also a great place for drinks. Love love love!!!

I have been there twice and will be going back very soon when my parents come to visit. The food is absolutely outstanding and the service was excellent. The owner is a friendly guy and talked to us for quite a while. I am from NJ and am very picky when it comes to Italian food and there is no hiding that he is from NYC. I love this place and I hope it is here to stay. The food is a bit pricey for downtown Concord but I pay it because I enjoy supporting independently owned businesses and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend this place!

I stumbled upon this beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant around 10pm Thursday night. Both John and Heather were so welcoming and we hit it off right away because they were true New Yorkers (Brooklynites). Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed but I had a great glass of red wine which was on the house. I have reservations in two weeks for my anniversary.
