i haven't gone to granite city to sample the beer yet, but i did meet some friends there for Sunday brunch. The do a buffet style brunch, and the spread is phenomenal. The servers come around and greet you, and start you off with a couple of giant cinnamon rolls warm and fresh from the oven. They give you the option to order off the menu or do the buffet, and i couldn't resist the options the buffet had to offer. Cooks stand attentively to serve you and have a friendly chat. I recommend the cheesy hashbrown casserole, it is worth every calorie and i always go back for seconds.

Granite City is by far one of the best restaurants in Lincoln. The 2 pork chop dinner and chicken burrito are outstanding. Additionally, their paramesan chicken dinner is one of the best I've ever had. Likewise they have the best tasting ceaser's salad on the planet! If you think busch light is a great beer, then Granite City's brews are not for you. If your looking for a full-bodied beer flavor, then you'll love Brother's Benedict. Treat yourself to a great restaurant, go to Granite City just once. I guarentee you'll go back again and again!

This was the most fantastic dining experience I have ever had in Lincoln. A very unique and novel place for such a small town. This restaurant would be 1000 times larger as a chain had they opened in a large city.

I had been to Granite City about a year ago and the food I had then was really good. I went last night 12/13/07 expecting the same. The Greek Chicken Salad I had was O.K., except I was really disappointed with the chicken. The chicken was dry, and was clearly last night's leftovers. What could have been a fantastic salad left me very disappointed. I don't go out very often, and when I do, especially to a place like Granite City, I expect an outstanding meal. How unfortunate to start a fun Christmas shopping evening with a sub par meal.

Our family of 4 adults and 4 children enjoyed the wide range of choices on the menu. Everyone seems to find just what they want and everything tastes wonderful. The salads, pastas, and burgers are wonderful and be sure to try the waffle fries! One of our favorite spots!

Awesome food! My husband and I just moved to Nebraska from Florida and haven't really been able to find anywhere good to eat outside of the typical chain restaurants, until we went to Granite City! The food was incredible and the service was the best that we have had since being in Nebraska! We actually live about an hour and a half away from Lincoln, but we've made that drive many times just for their mashed potatoes!
