Akron Restaurant Guide

Previous poster is right on the money. It was disgusting. Every table was dirty, the service was terrible and the food was mediocre. There are much better places to have breakfast.

Not like the old Egg Castle at all..cold food, didn't taste that great...what happened?! Bakery case near empty...all in all, a very disappointing experience. Does Bernice still cook there? She was the best!

I've gone to this restaurant quite a few times now and had pretty good food. Not bad for the price you pay. I will, however, not be returning after my visit today. I took my family to breakfast there and we waited for at least 45 minutes for the food to come out cold and prepared incorrectly. I eventually found out from the server that our ticket was lost. One would think, it happens right? I could have dealt with this had I not then been treated awful by the owner when I made her aware of it. She said "They were busy and I should just be more patient." On top of it, she didn't even have the courtesy to tell me herself. She instead sent a young server to my table to relay the message that should have come from her or at least a member of the management staff (I felt bad for the server). I can honestly say that I've never been treated so poorly at any restaurant EVER! She said that it was fine if we didn't come back because she has more loyal customers anyway and walked away from us. I will never be back to this restaurant and I encourage others to find another place as well. My money is going to a place that appreciates my business and treats its customers with a little bit of respect.
