The Great Baraboo has great food and very friendly wait staff. I recommend for anyone that wants really good food. The prices are a bit high, but worth it!

My husband and I visited on a Friday night. It was very busy and there were several people ahead of us in line. After waiting for nearly an hour, after they told us it would only be a 20 minute wait, we found out that the hostess skipped our name. It would have been nice to get some sort of discount for their mistake, but that was not the case...they actually made us feel like it was our fault (they do not have a pager system...their hostesses walk around the bar area looking for people based on a brief description...I was supposedly wearing a grey coat and had blond hair....I was actually wearing a black coat and have brown hair.). Although the server was nice enough, the food was only okay. They could use a much better ventilation system as well...it was very smoky, even for a bar. We won't be going go back.
