I have eaten in this restaurant for 12 years and have never had a problem with the service. The food is fantastic, with hearty portions and represent great value. The barbequed ribs are the best I have tasted anywhere and my wife loves their broasted chicken.
If anyone had a bad experience with the service here they sure didn't bring it to the attention of the boss/owner. He wouldn't have tolerated here. I am going there right now to pick up ribs and will be entertaining 6 people tomorrow night from Ireland. This place is too good to miss if you live anywhere nearby.

Be careful. We heard that the food was very good. Only one problem............food never came. We waited over 40 min for our food. Both tables around us (which arrived after us) got their food (some of the same items). During this time we NEVER got a refill on our water, nor even asked if we wanted another drink, which by now were empty. When we asked about our food, the waiter said "I'll check". We waited about 10 more minutes, then got up to leave. When we got up to leave, and met the manager at the front door, he finally said that he was notifed of the problem and was working on it. We felt that the second he was notified of a problem, he should have come to the table and spoke with us, we should not have had to go to him. BAD SERVICE..........STAY AWAY!!!

The Great Escape has fabulous bar-be-que ribs and broasted chicken. I personally liked the Salmon Vesuvio. The owner of the restaurant runs an excellent operation. All the servers were friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to any who likes good food.
