Restaurant Description
Ted Papas and John Papatheodorou (brothers) started a Greek deli in 1976 and the rest is history. Today we have three floors of fun at the corner of SW 4th and SW Washington in downtown Portland! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served on our fabulous first floor. Lunch, Greek Hour, and our fabulous Greek Show are on the 2nd floor. And our 3rd floor Minoan Ballroom is a private banquet area and hip popular nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights!

Amazing food. They have cheeses that you can't find anywhere else. The ambiance is great, the staff and owners are friendly and the wine bar is unique. I have been going there for 15 years and i still love it....

I've ended up at the Greek Cuisina 2 weekends in a row now for the Taverna show - both times our parties were treated horribly! The service was slow, extremely rude and anything you had to say was brushed off and you were labelled as "being difficult". Our drinks were never refilled, we were never checked on and we were overcharged for our party for the entertainment and they refused to correct the check. Several of us saw and overheard our server standing in a corner talking to over servers complaining about several parties he was serving. Several of us have now called back complaining about the service and the way we were treated and we all have the general concensus that the management really doesn't care. Additionally, one party member had a manager argue with them about how they could have charged us more. I'll never go back. Once is a fluke, twice in a row is a pattern of a bad and shady establishment!

Everyone was very kind, the food was excellent, the seating and atmosphere is very bland but was very clean. I don't know how this place got negative reviews, I enjoyed every part of it. Try the Chicken Baba Plate, it's very tasty.

The people are lovely and the food is delicious. It is authentic Greek dining experience..I'd know, I am Greek. It's also a great place to pick up some Fetta, Olive oil and a few products on the way home.

Flafel Sandwich was the best I ever had, price was only $5.50, their prices very cheap even if you compare it to the food carts.
