Love Hattie's. Great Coffee. Great people. Will keep coming. They are obviously doing something right to be in business so long.

I prefer to visit local businesses, but it's always obvious when an owner is only in business for the money. I've never seen a finer example of a shop that exists solely based on a location (10 years!), if a Starbucks were to open nearby, Hatties wouldn't last a month. Nevermind the cheapest and worst elevator music known to man, my cup of Columbian Supremo was weak and watery, and had the distinct flavor of a thermos that hadn't been washed in a week. Here's the kicker- Hatties would not take my debit card because of a $5 minimum policy...at a coffee shop! Where 99% of the items on the menu are less than that amount! It's no surprise that the nearest alternative is a mile away...I think it's worth the drive.
