A friend recommended this place to myself and my wife. We placed a take-out order. We had the honey raspberry wings and the garlic honey wings. The honey raspberry wings were steaming and hot when I picked them up. The honey garlic were good but fried. The fries were less than desirable. They seemed like they had sat there the whole time. However, THE WINGS WERE SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN. We are going to try dining in next time. While waiting on my order I saw some awesome looking food coming from the window. I would recommend this place over others like Hooters and Beef Obrady's. No comparison for the wings!

The first time we experienced this rest was the last time we will ever go there. The food was awful. We ordered the fish n chips, the fist was over fried and cold in the middle. The cole slaw was OK except for one person's; it had no dressing on it. How bad was that? The manager was sorry for our experience and only took off 1 meal out of 4 of us and offered a free dessert, when we sent almost all of our food back. Will never go back again.
The service - HORRIBLE!!! The Food - Good! To sum up the experience, it was like have a filet served on a GARBAGE LID! At this point, who wants it?? Fiery Chicken TOO much SALT. Nick was a horrible server: no follow up, glasses were empty, he was nev

We really ate some great grub at this place in Ybor City. You'de think by looking at it that it would be bar food. That's what we were prepared to eat. Next thing we know we were eating tuna escovitch, coquille st jaques and a snapper mojito that yo

Honestly, went in there not expecting much... I mean, it is South Tampa after all! I was pleasantly surprised with this place though! We were given some homemade kettle chips with a great chile spiced ranch dipping sauce (it was really good!!) We

During my sons football season we probably go to Honey's at least once a week, and we have never had a bad experience, if you poll any of the kids on the team their first choice to got to eat is always Honey's.

I really wanted a beef on weck the famous Buffalo sandwhich. What the served was a preprocessed roast deli beef that was reheated. I was so dissapointed because the 1st time I ate there they cooked their own roast beef. The beef on weck was so blah I doubt I'd go back. The french fries were soggy too. The only decent thing were the wings I had. I just didn't get good vibes from this place and I think the owner needs to pay more attention to what's going on in their restaurant.

I love authentic Buffalo wings but both my wings and my kids fries seemed as though they had been partially cooked and then reheated or cooked more once we had ordered, resulting in dried out overcooked food that wasn't very hot. I also agree with another reviewer that the food was overly salty. The sign outside said happy hour til 7 but upon being seated I was told happy hour ended at 6. Several area restaurants offer happy hour til 7 so this isn't too competitive. I don't think we'll go back. I'll stick with the Proud Lion's wings when I need to satisfy that particular food vice!

The service was excellent, the place was clean, and the ambience was comfortable. I used to go to Honey's when I lived up in Niagara Falls, for thirty years, as that's where they originated. I think Joe Sacco owned it or managed it for awhile, too. And of course, the wings are good, because only that area knows how to make them! However, I've been eating much healthier food since I moved to Tampa thirty years ago, so to taste the over-salted fare at Honey's was not my "cup of tea" anymore.I ordered the "beef on weck," and frankly, I can't believe I used to eat that stuff! My granddaughter ordered the "meat lover's pizza," or whatever it was called. She loved it, but again...to me it was WAY too salty. Then she ordered the elephant ear dessert with ice cream and chocolate syrup...had to be about 1500 calories! Also, I remember back in the Falls there was much more sauce on the pizza, too...that is the trademark of western NY pizza! But this pizza was dry and extremely salty. Overall, it is good i'm sure for what most of Tampa families will eat...but for me, I won't go back unless they offer more healthier fare. J. LaGamba

Very nice service...smiles on everyone. Wings are great. Buffalo chix wrap needs a lot of work. Open wrap on both ends? 90% lettuce 1(cut real thin)chicken tender with no spice. Burger ordered med was burned. Fries good. Bathrooms clean. Employees very sloppy looking. No mgr seen. 1:30pm on playoff sunday...4 tables. 3 cooks in kitchen. Weak food for volume/staff. Will return for wings.
