Until a few month ago we were frequents visitors of the house of seafood; would bring company anytime the were in town. Went back tonight and will not be going again. The food did not live up to their usually standards. Nothing was as good as usual no seasoning, the oyster were rolled in some kind of flour batter and soggy, frog legs were cold. For the price I expect better quality. Very unhappy

The restaurant isn’t fancy; actually it’s a cinder block building, but it’s clean and the restrooms have soap and towels. The food is so plentiful and varied, if you took only one bite of each dish it would fill about four plates and be more than you could eat. Shrimp, oysters, crawfish, crabs, alligator, fish, frog legs, rabbit, mussels, scallops, steak, chicken, ham and the list goes on and on. Fried, boiled, broiled, baked, stuffed and every other way. The serving table was kept filled the 1.5 hours we were there. Vegetables, salads and desserts were good also. Service was fantastic. It’s better than any Mississippi Coast Casino buffet and I've been to them all. I live here. $18.95 Thu. Fri. and Sat. only. Closed all of December.
