I'm laughing at the reviewer who was asked to remove his hat during dinner. Hello!? Houston's is neither a truck stop nor McDonald's; wearing a hat in a restaurant is rude.
The food is pricey and the place is noisy. They have a couple of really good items on the menu that bring me back.

My experience was different than the last reviewer's. The waitress was attentive, the food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
We ordered the artichoke appetizer which was delivered to our table promptly. They roasted the artichokes which gave them a full, rich flavor. The sauce was a perfect accompaniment--much better than the usual greasy dish of melted butter that most places serve.
We're both fans of tuna, and in spite of the many tempting offerings on the menu, we both ordered the tuna. It was better than expected... delicate, flavorful and extremely fresh.
The previous reviewer complained that a pitcher of water was left at the table; I prefer that and usually ask for it, even at more expensive restaurants. It's a convenience for the diners to be able to refill their own glasses instead of waiting, or having a glassful of ice dumped in rather than water.
Overall, it was a great value for the money and we'll return again, soon.
We have been here twice and have been very happy with the entire dining experience. They seem to be consistently good. We will look forward to more good food from this great place in the future.
This is one of the finest dining experiences in the tri county area. From the moment you enter you are greeted and seated. The door is locked after guests so that no one can interrupt your celebration.(remember, there are only six tables) My husband

Fun for a group or a family. The new FAU Sports Bar and Boca High Booster hang out. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Check it out!
Big into MMA too.

The food was great but what made my experience at Houston's awful is the service. Very poor service, feels like they just want to turn their tables and not really attentive to their customers. They serve $18 sandwiches and yet cannot pour the water. I was shocked when they put a pitcher of water on the table for you to refill yourself. Absolutely no service! Our waitress came over maybe twice throughout the whole dinner, once to take our order and once to drop the check. The check was droped before the desert was even served. And they made my husband take his hat off. This is a place that serves fries and sandwiches NOT a 5 star restaurant so there is absolutely no reason why they should have a dress code. Even though the food was pretty good I will definitely never go back there again.
