Ideya owner Lauryn Small and Chef Isaac Reyes have perfected the culinary confluence of Spanish, African and indigenous ingredients that characterizes Caribbean Latin cuisine. As the Latin food movement sweeps across the continent, it's clear that Ideya's Latin bistro style has become the prototype.Ideya brings a warm Latin flavor to any event whether in the tropical setting of our restaurant or in the comfort of your own home.Never forgetting Ideya's important tradition as a popular cocktail stop, Ideya's drinks burst with Caribbean flavor. And as always, Monday is salsa night with Ola Fresca and the best mojitos in Nueva York.
Good comfort food for a good price and friendly service. Definitely not a dress up place, but they have decent entertainment during weekends (live music)
I am a Jamaican and let me say that this particualr Golden Crust SUCKS!!!!! BIG time! The food there is horrible. The curry goat is always salt and their oxtail is undone. the onlty thing i buy is the mild patty or the banana chips because I like them
