The food is absolutely terrible. It tastes like microwaveable food you can buy at Indian grocery stores.
Anyone who says this place is excellent has no idea what they're talking about. They most-likely work at the restaurant or they know someone who does.

I was shocked to see that someone gave India Star a bad review. It's one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I love the chicken curry and Naan. The ambience is about a hundred times better since they moved out of the old, tiny building on Beaver. The new location is clean and beautiful. The food is a great value. I highly recommend India Star! I wish they'd open up a location out in Waukee!
