Excellent choice of food which is very unusual to see in an Indian restaurant. I tried the orange fig salad and tandoori mix grill and then moved on to a main course dish of lamb saag and chicken tikka masla. The breads where heavenly. In all, we had a great experience in terms of good food and great service. The price was nominal for this level of a restaurant, not to mention that wonderful cocktail Madras rose topped with champagne. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to spend time in a nice, casual, yet modern setting with good food.

The problem with this place is that the food is NOT consistent. At times, the curry was good. At times, I wanted to vomit. The service is lousy, the prices are a rip off, and the staff has a bad attitude. I would bet that this dump doesn't last until Christmas.
The decor is nice but simple... but the food is unbeatable ! This is an excellent choice if you like or want to try Indian food. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants, even in India.. and none have beat the quality and taste of this place.... I do

The curry had 2 layers of oil with a very funny taste. Next to Chirag, the worst Indian food on Staten Island. This place is a total Rip off. They name have a 3 for 1 happy hour.

good food and service. I went in for the happy hour with my girl friend who was reluctant at first but the moment we got in we were sold and spent almost 3 hrs enjoying every course of meal that we ordered. ps. I am sure The Indian Clove is making other indian restaurants in the neighborhood run for their money cause and thats why i see a negative online campaign on this lovely restaurant. Any one who visits this place would know what a great restaurant this Indian clove is . Go chk them out you will never regret.. A MUST TRY OUT PLACE IN STATEN ISLAND
One of the worst food i ever had in an Indian Restaurant. On the top of it, the service is very, very bad. The owner is very arrogant. One server is very rude. I will not go back again.

Good lord, the food here was amazing. The portions were worth the money, the quality of everything from the complimentary appetizer to the main courses were actually outstanding. Went with a party of 5 for dinner and we had a great experience.
The service here is wonderful but...yea, a little weird. The guys were friendly but sort of lingered around us. a little pricer than other indian restaurants on the island but it is by far the best
