I am from Louisville and this place puts our Japanese restaurants to shame. This place is definitely authentic. I have been to Japan and can say this is as close as your going to get in America. I ordered sushi, an en-tray, and red bean ice cream. It was all quite tasty. They even had chicken sushi for those that are scared to try, this is the "gateway sushi" and it was amazing. Staff friendly, place was very clean and nice looking, and you have the choice to sit down at a traditional table (shoes off, sitting on the floor with cushions) or a conventional table and chairs. The price was ok but I'm a cheap lady (some dishes were around 20 dollars each but others were cheaper). Overall amazing! They even have a grocery store next door. Be sure to call to check hours because some odd holidays they aren't open and I don't think they are open on Sundays?

Absolutely the best sushi in the area. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh, varying with the seasons. Jimmy, the sushi chef, makes beautiful and delicious rolls; he's always seemed happy to prepare rolls not on the menu as well. The miso sou
