We love J. Gilberts. We always celebrate our birthdays and anniversary here. The food is amazing and we really like the wide variety of wines.

We've been here a few times and each time we leave wondering why we went back. I suppose because it's convenient to where we live and the food is decent for a weeknight meal. The prices are high for lower quality steak, it's definitely not prime (as they claim on their menu). The atmosphere and service are both good but the food is similar to an Outback while they charge fine dining prices. I know they call themselves a "steak house" but I would steer clear of their steaks. The other entrees, particularly the seafood dishes are a much better choice. Overall, it's fine for casual dining on occasion but I wouldn't recommend it for bringing guests or for special occasions.

we love your place and think its one of the best around. We were however disappointed this past Saturday night over our steaks. My husband and ordered our filet med. and they were both well done. They did give us new steaks and mine was fine and his was raw. The manager came over to inquire how our steaks were now, and we said fine because we were with friends and really didn t want to send his back again.
