Amarillo Restaurant Guide

My husband and I have eaten at Kubuki several times a year for quite a few years. We both love it, and as far as I can remember, we have never had a bad experience there. Only once did the cook prepare the wrong thing, but when he was informed of the mistake he quickly corrected it. No problem. Their food is always great and the portions are large enough that we always have enough to take home and eat the next day, also.
Their California Rolls (sushi)are really good, too!

Every time I visit Amarillo Texas I always have to make a stop at Kabuki. Wonderful layout and awesome food! It is one of the neatest restaurants I have ever been to. I highly recommend this place for people looking for entertainment and good food.

My husband I were in Amarillo for business and just happened to find Kabuki. What a treat. It was near closing time, but we never felt rushed. The service was great considering the time of the evening. The owner shared with us the "water Screen" that he has in the restaurant. The ambiance was delightful. The Sashimi.....blue fin tuna was unbelievable. We have eaten in sushi restaurants all over (Nobu in LA) and this was some of the finest blue fin tuna we have ever had. Worth the price.

From the moment you walk in the front door one is in awe. Beautiful lay out with the boat in the middle of the restaurant. The thunder & lightning show, then the rainstorm and then the video using the rain as the screen. But what you came for was the food. This Japanese Steak House is second to none in quality. The owner Tadamichi is from Japan and he demands nothing but the best ingredients.

They overcharged us $30.00! The cook put more food on our plates than we asked for and charged us extra because of it. We got charged for 5 extra rices when there was only 4 of us eating! My daughter had to purchase a side or we would get charged for a sitting fee. Doesn't make sense because a couple sitting next to us shared a plate and didn't get charged for the extra seat. They were rude when we tried to resolve it, never eat there again and neither will the other 20 or so people I have shared this with since the experience.

I love Kabuki, it is my favorite restaurant! The atmosphere is so much fun and the kids love it when the cook makes the onion volcano! They are a little pricy at dinner time but the lunch menu is very affordable. Overall you will have a wonderful experience!

The food is Excellent, and if you go at lunch extremely affordable!
