My husband and I have been eating at K&W since it came to the Roanoke area. We now avoid eating at the one on Hershberger Road because of the serving staff. They (one girl in particular) come across as very loud and definitely not taking her job seriously. They seem to have inside jokes among them. Sometimes they appear to even be arguing. Very unprofessional!!! They need to tone it down a little. It's very annoying to the customers. Because of this we now go to the Salem or Tanglewood location. My daughter completely avoids the Hershberger location altogether because of her experience with the manager. There is definitely room for improvement. We keep trying it occasionally, but there is no improvement. We prefer this location because it is closer to our home, but will drive further because of their problems. Disappointing.

My friends and I visited at 730pm recently on a Sunday evening. A tour bus had just unloaded before we arrived and the line was long. My first thought was, " It's going to take FOREVER to get through." How WRONG I was. The line moved swiftly and efficiently. The staff was polite and attentive. The food quality was very good regarding appearance and flavor. Definitely much better than what generally comes to mind when the word "cafeteria" is mentioned. The dining area was clean and the servers kept our iced tea filled. I would give the bathrooms a "B" for cleanliness. There is a conspicuous sign that asks patrons to alert staff if the restrooms need attention. Our dining experience was very good and we will definitely be back. Wish we had one of these cafeterias in our hometown. Thank you for the great food and the hospitality.
The only reason why i would ever recommend Ranch Viejo is for the food,I still don't think that you should go there even if the food is good. The truth is that the owner of Ranch Viejo is the worst person you could ever meet.I know for a fact that he

We moved to the other side of town and still order from Golden China. My husband picks it up on his way home from work. It is a better value than the decent places nearby and the inexpensive places in are awful. It is worth going out of our way to st

I love this place and the food is excellent. Great value, imaginative menu and lots of healthy choices. Unlike the previous review, I have experienced very attentive service and have always had a pleasant experience at Fork in the City.

Visited this restaurant on 10/27/07. Do not recommend this restaurant. Bathrooms very dirty. Service not good. Tried to talk to manager on duty which a worker told me was named Roger. They could not get him to come out to talk to me. I got the hamburger patty and it tasted like it had been dipped in sodium. Awful taste. Tables very dirty. Need to clean up the place.
