I have been to koi about 5 times since it opened. It always had good food and friendly service. Today, that changed (they also seemed to have hired new waitress', which may have been part of the reason but I am unsure)
I ordered my normal 3 rolls and sushi pizza with a side dish. The spicy tuna I got was bad (like gone-off bad) and it seems as though they tried to hide this fact by putting too many scallions in the roll. Needless to say, I did not eat it. Then, she tried to charge me for it because it was a leftover. No, I did not not eat it because I was full, I didn't eat it because it tasted horribly. After a back and forth, she spoke to her manager, who said that "this time" they wouldn't charge us for it. I politely told her that there would not be a next time and paid my bill. She then gave us attitude for the rest of our stay. Don't you want to keep your business? It's lunch time, on a friday (GOOD FRIDAY) and we were one of two tables in there.
Althought I love the idea of AYCE Sushi, I will be continuing to go to sushi time and fuji grill. You would think the treatment of customer's would be better given the fact that there are 4 sushi restaurants in a 5 square mile space.
