Great food - relaxing atmosphere! My husband, daughter, and I ate there this past Sunday evening. Everyone who worked there was very friendly, especially the owners, Freddy and Wendy. My husband uses a wheelchair, and he had no problem maneuvering in the restaurant. As soon as we were seated, we were given hot tortilla chips with a delicious salsa - not too spicy, not too mild. My husband ordered a combo plate with a chicken enchilada, a shredded beef taco, and rice and beans. All not only looked good, but tasted great, too. His meal came with either soup or salad. Although his salad was simple, the lettuce was cold, crisp, and refreshing. I also had a combo plate with a chile relleno (a house specialty), with rice and beans. The relleno was excellent (and I'm pretty picky), the beans were creamy and yummy, and the rice was fluffy and mild. I added some extra salsa to my beans and rice to fit my "spicier" needs. My meal also came with soup or salad, and I opted for a cup of albondigas - piping hot with chunks of carrots, onions, and a large meatball, all in a tasty tomato broth. Our college-aged daughter got a giant carne asada "Cali-style" burrito with sour cream. It was definitely enough for two people (she took home half for the next day.) To finish the meal, we split a dessert with tortilla filled with a cheesecake-like filling, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and all drizzled with rasberry sauce. Yum!! All in all, a delicious, relaxing meal! The parking lot was full and restaurant was filled with diners - stop by and give it a try! You'll enjoy it!!
