My family and I have been enjoying this gem for the past 20+ years and consistency is one of its halmarks. NEVER have we been disappointed in or by any element that one would use to judge a restaurant: The food (both quality and quantity), the service, the relaxed enviornment, the overall dining experience all keep us coming back whether to celebrate a special occasion or to simply enjoy an evening out.

This is truly a wonderful Spanish restaurant. My husband and I went to the Ironbound section in Newark, NJ to compare their Spanish food to La Fonda's and there is no comparision to La Fonda's delicious meals. Also, the value is exceptional at La Fonda and once you experience it you will always go back for more. I have eaten at the best NYC restaurants so I am well aware of fine food/dining. We have been customers at La Fonda for over 10 years and there is no better place to have a really home-cooked meal that is consistent every time. That is the key to an excellent restaurant!!! Don't miss the seabass and sangria....
