We have been customers since this location open and have been extremely happy with business both food and service. However during recent visits the restaurant temperature has been warm and unconstable. The AC should be repair or replace.

Mexican cuisine is actually far more varied than most Anglo Americans realize. This is one variety of Mexican food that will appeal to anyone who has not yet mastered the pleasures of hot chiles. The tastes are simple and straightforward. Chile is not used on everything. However, you can always order chiles toreados or put on as much salsa as you wish for that fiery, pleasurable taste. For another variety of real Mexican food, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food at a great price. Authentic, clean and great service. And as a bonus honest workers, I left my cell phone there and didn't realize it until the next day. They saved it for me!

What's special about La Parilla is the grilled meats, Mexico City style. Steaks or chicken breasts are chopped and grilled with bacon and green pepper to stuff the tacos. Try the chicken melt (white cheese, flour tortilla, chicken, bacon, avocado and tomato) or the chorizo con queso (very unusual). Parillada's are little table top grills filled with meats, served with home-made tortillas. The charro beans in smoky broth can't be beat. Three salsas to choose, one made with avocado.
