Back in the 80s everybody was nice but now the staff doesn't even answer the phone to take an order. People working in the past care more about the community. I guess it has to do to the economy.

the food was great. If you go on a Sunday prepare to be in line for about 10 to 20 minutes. if cool on sunday morrnings they have a clown that paints faces and makes balloon animals for the kids. and they have this spanish guitar player who is really good. i had the morcajete which is a hot volcanic rock on a plate and they serve you carne asada and chicken and fried cactus on it with a sauce that is called ranchera sauce. they add fried chorizo and garnish the rock with slices of cheese jalapeno and green onion and rice and beans on the side. the beans are best. the plate feeds 2 for like 16 bucks. i like the mexican waitreses that make you feel like theyr cooking for you at home.great food good prices and better service. i would take a girl on a date to that spot
