Delray Beach Restaurant Guide

Have a gift certificate for $ 50.00 to this restaurant but hadn't used it yet and THE RESTAURANT CLOSED WITHOUT WARNING!!! NOT VERY NICE.

The menu was price fixe and included dinner, desert and coffee. The cost of the dinner was $12.95 on Sunday, but the cost is $1 less on weekdays. There were white tablecloths and a large round tables which were excellent for conversations. Te ambiance and service was excellent and there was a wonderful variety of menu items to choose from. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed my experience at Le Pavillion and I would definitely return. Great Value. Very Good Food. Wonderful Ambiance.

While the food is okay the owner needs a personality adjustment and the waiters need to learn how to serve. We had a reservation for five on Valentine's Day and the service was awful. I felt as though we were alloted five minutes per course. Dishes were removed before we had a chance to finish. This type of service came with each course. The waiter pretended not to hear us when we asked him to please slow it down. The restaurant upped the price by $5.00 per entree as it was a "holiday" but did not give us anything extra. Not even a flower.
We had decided to leave less than our standard 20% tip but were unpleasently surprised to see a 20% tip added to the bill. When we told the owner that we did not wish to leave a 20% tip he said we had no choice. We told him that the service was awful but he gave us an argument stating that parties of 5 or more were required to leave a 20% tip.
We had an upped priced dinner that was litterly ruined by poor service and still had to pay this tip. We will never return.
What a waste. Try the Atlantic Fish Grill next door. That place is terrific!

We have been here before and really enjoy it. They honor reservation promptly. This time we went on Valentine's Day and everything was perfect. The food was served hotand cooked to order. The other 2 couples had not been there before and can't wait to return. The servers were pleasant and very good. They use cloth table-clothes & napkins. Dinners are complete at fixed prices; which depends on the day of the week that you go. Cost a little more on the weekends. Dinners were $18.95 tonight--what a bargin on a holiday yet. What more could one ask for! Go and am sure you also will be pleased.
