After numerous disappointments, I decided it was time to try a different chinese restaurant in the bethlehem area. I gave Lok Yuan the benefit of the doubt but I must say I found them to be even worse than my previous experiences.
I ordered the barbecue spareribs combination and found the ribs to be dry (completely sauceless) and bland. The fried rice was pale and unsavory. The meal on the whole was thoroughly unsatisfying.
To add insult to injury, Lok Yuan charges $8.00 plus tax for this dish, higher than anywhere else I've heard of.

I've eaten here and had take-out more than 50 times. The hot and sour soup is very good usually, sometimes I do add a touch of vinegar. Spare ribs excellent. Moo-shu very good. Bethlehem is not a great place for Chinese places but this is as good as any, food-wise, and it's always open with fast delivery.
