I strongly do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, Indians, americans everyone. We were at the restaurant last friday as we took about 75 students to visit the UN and wanted them to taste something new. As this plc was closer to the UN, we called the guy to make reservations a day before as they have to prepare themselves for app. 100 people. The food was not good at all (I am an indian..so I would know). He gave seperate tables for students and staff. When they were no tables left, some students came and sat at a table across us. As they were half-way thru, the owner came and just yelled at them in a very disrespectful manner and asked them to leave the tables. I was shocked. He did not serve drinks until all of us were almost half-way through our lunch. He refused to refill the glasses and said one drink per person. He came to the tables and started picking up the plates even when some of us were still eating. I told him in hindi to behave himself, but he dint seem to care. I apologized to my group for his behavior and felt so ashamed. Coming from a country that respects guests as God, this is the respect this guy showed to people who came there to eat and were paying more than what the quality deserves. Moreoever, he charged for the drinks when he said it was included. Someone has to do something about this guy. The worst thing is he was making condescending remarks about the group in hindi which consisted largely of africans. I was so angry with this guy that I wanted to report him for racist remarks, but refrained considering his age. I was upset the whole weekend and really thank this website for atleast giving me an oppurtunity to report such places so others can be saved from such a bad experience.
