"GRANDMA PAT" moved to California from the South bringing with her all her family recipes. One in particular stood out from all her dishes....her SEA FOOD GUMBO! Everyone in the family knew Grandma Pat cooked her famous gumbo only twice a year, and, if you come late, all you would see was an empty pot and empty bowls! Grandma Pat passed away in 1992, but her son, Ron Sr, and her grandson "Chef Ron" (CEO & Head Chef of Mama Pat's Gumbo and Grill) are continuing her legacy...cooking great food with a lot of love. "Chef Ron" is the CEO and Head Chef. He has always had a passion for cooking. Taught by Grandma Pat herself how to season and prepare good food from scratch, he never forgets her words, "If you are going to cook, do it from the heart and serve it from the soul." With his newly found talent he bought a hot dog cart and eventually became an assistant manager of a nationwide food chain. Now he is following his grandmother's and father's footsteps by bringing the freshest and tastiest food in town including the world famous Grandma Pat's Seafood Gumbo!! He says, "I'll always serve every customer the way my grandma did... WITH A LOT OF LOVE!"
