About Mama Pat's Gumbo and Grill

"GRANDMA PAT" moved to California from the South bringing with her all her family recipes. One in particular stood out from all her dishes....her SEA FOOD GUMBO! Everyone in the family knew Grandma Pat cooked her famous gumbo only twice a year, and, if you come late, all you would see was an empty pot and empty bowls! Grandma Pat passed away in 1992, but her son, Ron Sr, and her grandson "Chef Ron" (CEO & Head Chef of Mama Pat's Gumbo and Grill) are continuing her legacy...cooking great food with a lot of love. One taste of our gumbo and memories will start to fill your head. God bless you Grandma. We all miss you and your cooking.

"Chef Ron" is the CEO and Head Chef. He has always had a passion for cooking. Taught by Grandma Pat herself how to season and prepare good food from scratch, he never forgets her words, "If you are going to cook, do it from the heart and serve it from the soul." With his newly found talent he bought a hot dog cart and eventually became an assistant manager of a nationwide food chain. Now he is following his grandmother's and father's footsteps by bringing the freshest and tastiest food in town including the world famous Grandma Pat's Seafood Gumbo!! He says, "I'll always serve every customer the way my grandma did... WITH A LOT OF LOVE!"

The Gumbo had a nasty taste as if it had pine-sol
in it..due to the fact, he was cleaning up at the
time. The beef taco meat was old, and not tasty.
I suggest they need to close down. I wouldn't suggest anyone to patronage this establishment.

I haven't eaten there in almost 30 years but if they are still owned by the same people I have never had cheese pizza this good ever. They also had the best bread sticks and butter. I would love to go back and try them
