Fresno Restaurant Guide

Food was great. Service was great. We even had a large party of 18+ people. Not 1 complaint from the group. Wonderful experiance. Thank you!

Good honest food. Prices are high, but not over the top. I really like being at Max's.

The place was empty on a Friday. Found out why once I started eating my lunch. Boy this place sure has gone downhill. Used to come alot a couple of years ago. Will never return. I asked my server what had happened - he just laughed. I also offered that he finish my lunch. He wanted to refund my $ - I did not want my $ back - they totally missed my point. It seemed they needed the $ more than me. The food was old, service sucked, and the atmosphere was stale. Sorry to see this happen - they were great a couple of years ago. It's sad - they had the attitude they didn't care...

Consistency and class. The prior review of Dry bread and sour meat, hard to beleive. Must be a competitors chef venting his/her own self doubts. Keep on being the best Max's.

Bread was dry and old. Meat tasted sour. Would not go back. Seemed kind of slow.

I am consistantly impressed with this fresno gem. Max's always meets and exceeds our expectations. Whenever our friends come to town and stay with us Max's is first on the list of places we go. The best of Fresno by far!
