Store #767 is our most frequent place to dine but recently have found that an employee Mary Perdue serving over 20 years with the establishment was given a reduction in days. She is handicapped, but is the only one that keeps the place spotless, and very friendly person who needs the five days to survive. These days were given to school kids, and minorities rather than keeping a person who needs the job and lost her sister who cared for her with helping in tasks and looking out for her well being. My husband and I have lived in the area for 35 yrs. and all people in the community miss her when she is not working. All the Managers in that store should be thankful for her devotion, dedication and repour with the customers both old, and young. No other worker I or my family has seen meets her cleanliness and caring. She has not gotten a raise in most of the years she has worked there, and only takes off when she is sick. She walks, and comes in when needed but should not be made fun of because she has a handicap or diaability. We are very disheartened about the situation and may have to stop frequenting McDonalds. We do eat there weekly for lunches, dinners etc. There are five in our family. We have a house in NEW Jersey and frequest te Toms RIVER FACILITY WHICH WAS DONE OVER BEAUTIFULLY. SHAME, SHAME ON MR. HUNT, JULIE ONE OF THE MANAGERS, AND THE ORIENTAL MGR. WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO EMPLOYEES, OR CUSTOMERS. Mary is so devoted she even helps customers who are less fortunate then her, has no bad bones in her makeup. I hope that her hours and more days can be saved, otherwise it's McDonalds loss for such a wonderful person who just wants to survive on her own.
