Was a frequent diner. Last 3 visits in the last 2 months. Abomnible service, no one cared about any diner at all. Strike three, after being seated and totally ignored (1/2 full dining room) we finally walked out. Not too thrilled with the new higher prices and ala carte menu either. Discovered the NEW and REMODELED Sizzler across the street! What a gem! Beautiful inside and the service rivaled any five star restaurant!

I lOVE MIMI CAFE IN MODESTO I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AT ANYTIME I HAVE ALWAYS HAD AN AWSOME WAITER AND THEY COME TO THE TABLE AT LEAST 3/5 TIMES..THATS TO BAD ABOUT THAT PERVIOUS CUSTOMER BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING YOURSELF AND MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE HAD DESERT ON THE HOUSE:(

My husband and I were Friday Dec.8,2006 about 6:00pm and Jose was our waiter. He did not ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks and didn't ask if my husband wanted cheese on his spagetti and the portion was so small! My dish was the pot roast and the mash potatoes were so runny.Jose didnt ask if we wanted more bread.Didnt even ask if we wanted desert.He laid the bill on the table and walked away so fast.No one from the Hostes dept said good bye or have a nice day!And I wanted desert and never got the chance to ask for any.It was the worst experience we have ever had there. Plus we see the menu has changed drastitly. Soup and salad is extra price now. I think there is enough restaurants in town to choose from with out ever going back there.
