My parents were visiting so we went to Min-ga for dinner, and wow it was goooooood.
We ordered dukboki, kimchi chijimi, and bibimbap (excuse my creative spelling here...), and ALL of it was great!!
There were 2 ladies serving us, one seemed to have a heavy Korean accent, but they were good with English.
One of my bestfriends are Korean, and I know what authentic (?) homemade good Korean cooking is, and that's kind of what it was like.
Mmm, very good.
And as a bonus they serve like 8 tiny dishes of stuff alongside for free, the dishes are like kimchi of various sorts (cabbage, cucumber etc) and seeweed and some kind of potato thing and mmm, good stuff.
I think they recently had their place redone, it is very pretty and clean, and they have all these nice tapistried (?) Korean stars on the wall it's cute.
We went at 6 and we were the only ones, so I was like, ummm? but soon the whole place was full, lots of Asians sprinkled with Americans.
The menus had Korean, Japanese, and English on them, you might have to ask what they are if you are unfamiliar with Korean dishes though.
Oh, and last but not least, it's not cheap, like $10 for an average dish I think, but it is soooo worth it.
Yummy.
