After eating at this restaurant for many years and loving the food (I used to live around the corner and have been at least 100 times), my wife and I went again last night for the first time in quite a while (Nov. 21, 2008) only to find that the place has gone downhill dramatically! Her usual, the chimichanga (sp?) was a disaster: instead of being stuffed full of well seasoned beef, it was stuffed mostly with what appeared to be straight from the freezer section veggies - crinkle cut carrots and cauliflower (yuck!). This was the first time we had seen this in the five years we've been eating there. An obvious cost-cutting move. My daughter ordered the steak burrito, and it too was lacking in the meat department: instead it was stuffed to the brim with mostly green bell peppers and onions. My enchilada plate was also a disaster: overloaded with mole sauce to hide the lack of meat in the beef or chicken enchilada. So sad to see such a great place go to the dogs, but it happens. Take our advice: do not set foot in this place ever again!
