Mother Bear's pizza is rather unique in Bloomington. The sauce is sweet and dabbed on the top of the pizza as well as under the cheese. You can get a big square slice and a soda for a very very reseasonable price. A great value and place to stop for lunch during the day if you wait until after 1PM or go before 5PM when town rush happens. Interesting pictures and paintings on the wall remind one of "1960s" music and times. Not the best for children though the high back booths give a good deal of privacy.

After remodeling, this is a lot more open and less noisy. The food is reasonable for the price, the service a bit frayed at times, especially over the lunch hour rush. A nice place to stop if you are in the mall anyway.
