Delicious healthy food! Tucked in the back of the health food store, so just walk past the shelves when you come in. Warm, friendly service, very casual; kid friendly too - kids corner with books & puzzles to keep them occupied. Fireplace looks wonderful but is fake, so safe for kids. Special diets are their specialty - gluten-free bread available, and they are willing to modify entrees where possible upon request. They created a salad dressing just for me & my friend one time because we were allergic to at least one ingredient in the other ones. And no, healthy does not mean weird! They have healthy all-beef hot dogs for the kids, also a grilled 3-cheese sandwich (my favorite indulgence). For dessert, there's a yummy banana Devonshire cream creation (I think chocolate sauce is available.) For something on the go, they have a variety of protein power smoothies or 100% fruit smoothies. Small & large salads with or without chicken or steak (my favorite - I had them cook my steak w/a little apple vinegar - delicious! Be sure to check out their gluten-free & healthy groceries available to take home. (I love the dairy-free ice cream sweetened with agave syrup, particularly the chocolate flavor - yum!)

The selection and quality of food was really good. Their blueberry bliss smoothie that I had with my hot reuban sandwich w rice chips was deep-down delicious, especially for something supposed to be so healthy for me. Their quaint 1920's soda fountain design and antique furniture feels warm and inviting. To go there is a little like taking a trip back in time. It's my 4th visit and I've tried something new on the menu each time, no disappointment yet.
