This place has changed...for the worse. Used to be pretty good, good food, nice people. Ever since it changed ownership the quality of the food has steadily declined and the service is even worse. Don't get a salad, it's always old and limp. And f

Ol South is a fort worth tradition. The mew management has streamlined so many outdated things. THe menus are great and the service is awesome!

Okay, it's not new ownership. How about new management. Ever heard this one, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? We've been going to Ol' South for years. I almost passed out when I saw the new (streamlined) menu. The old waitstaff has been replaced with upstarts that don't know the menu, and are too busy texting on their iphones to get your food to you until it's already cold. Last year this great little pancakes house would've rated 5 stars in my book. Now I give it a one, only because zero isn't in the drop-down menu.

There is no new owner. It's family owned, has always has been. Marvin's x-wife is no longer there. It is diffently cleaner and run more efficient.... It's now Marv and Rex....Rex is the son of the orginal owner David Benson..Good Luck to Marvvin and Rex. It's a Given!
